Partnership Sales Executive

Status: 1099 Independent Contractor (Remote)
Location: Must reside in and work from a U.S. time zone
Commitment: Part-time (Approx. 20–30 hours/week, with opportunity to scale)
Availability: Must be available for scheduled meetings during U.S. business hours
Duration: Long-term position
Compensation: $18/hour base plus 5% commission on gross sales, with additional incentive opportunities. Total earnings are directly tied to sales performance and revenue generated.

Description

The Partnership Sales Executive is responsible for driving revenue through strategic brand partnerships across Produce Your Podcast’s portfolio of brand partner clients, including podcasters and YouTube creators.
This is a high-ownership sales role focused on prospecting, relationship building, and closing deals. You will work closely with senior leadership but are expected to build and manage your own pipeline, develop partnership opportunities, and contribute directly to revenue growth. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a commission-driven environment and wants to grow within the podcast, media, and creator economy.

 

Tasks & Responsibilities


Prospecting & Pipeline Development

  • Identify and outreach to brands, agencies, and advertisers
  • Research target accounts and decision-makers
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities
  • Network to generate new partnership opportunities


CRM & Sales Execution

  • Manage all activity in HubSpot (contacts, deals, notes, follow-ups)
  • Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and forecasting
  • Build pitch lists aligned with client and creator audiences


Deal Ownership & Revenue Generation

  • Own deals from outreach through close (with support as needed)
  • Develop partnership concepts and campaign ideas for brands
  • Lead sales conversations and negotiations
  • Meet or exceed revenue targets


Client & Internal Collaboration

  • Collaborate with clients to identify best-fit brand partners
  • Work cross-functionally with our partnership ops team on campaign execution
  • Ensure smooth handoff from sales to operations


Campaign Growth & Retention

  • Support campaign updates and communication with brand partners
  • Identify renewal and upsell opportunities
  • Contribute ideas for new revenue streams and partnerships

REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY

  • 2–5 years of experience in sales, partnerships, or business development
  • Proven ability to prospect and manage a pipeline
  • Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot preferred, but negotiable)
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset

 

PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED

  • Experience in media, podcasting, influencer, or advertising sales
  • Familiarity with agencies and brand marketing teams
  • Experience with tools like Apollo or LinkedIn Sales Navigator
